Study on green preparation of multi-branched gold nanoparticles loaded flexible polyurethane foam for antibacterial dressing

Antibacterial foam dressing has been developed in recent years based on polymeric membranes and silver ions or nanoparticles as antibacterial components. However, have cytotoxicity to humans. Herein, we used biocompatible multi-branched gold an antimicrobial agent polyurethane wound dressings. This study described a rapid surfactant-free method for the preparation of using hydroquinone reducing chitosan stabilizer well assisted irradiation. The optimal procedure fabricated with high water absorption small average pore size, achieved nearly 500% absorptivity 98 nm size. effects containing against both Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus were investigated. results demonstrated that can be viable alternative conventional antibiotics
